The Fragrance Kitchen Into The Light

The Fragrance Kitchen Into The Light by TFK

She wanted to be legendary, she wanted to be eminent. But now she has so many admirers and the doors open for her. She looks at her jewel-covered fingers that glitter in the flashes and she wonders if her fate was preordained. Perhaps she is tired of the lists of names and her service to the press.

But she plays the game and knows it well. She reaps the glory and the gifts, wrapping it up and leaving it at the door. She takes the cultural and the social engagements with a grain of salt and blows it into the wind when she's finished. She is pretty, but her success is beautiful.

It does not come from nothing, but it comes from her persistence and her hard work. She steps into the light, aware her success is the pretty fruit of a great and clever mind.
