Like many other influencers, Schütz advocates excessive self-improvement,[4] emphasizing optimism and the importance of a high self-esteem. The Redaktionsnetzwerk Deutschland described his actions as "so absurd and bizarre that [he] has become a living meme."[2] He also frequently talks about his peculiar eating habits and daily routines that are meant to promote health. "In the eyes of his counterparts, there is usually a mixture of admiration and head-shaking."[3]

Schütz denies speculations that his behavior can be explained by drug abuse. He claims that his "cocaine-style" is deliberate to generate attention and clicks. In a talk show called deep und deutlich produced by NDR Fernsehen, he stated in 2021: "I support my entire family by fooling around like an idiot. It's just that I make a lot of money with it."[4] At his appearance at the OMR 2023 online conference, Schütz also mentioned, "I have never taken drugs in my life - I don't even drink alcohol [...]. I have a pretty intense mindset, and I'm ethically very cool.

Daniel Średziński was born to Polish immigrants[4] in Oldenburg and lived for a short period of time in the Holzlar district of Bonn.[5] He changed his surname to Schütz sometime later in his life.[2] He became interested in dance through school theater and subsequently started a part-time job at the Oldenburg State Theater and produced private dance tutorials from 2007.[6] Schütz used the stage name Jeremy Williams from 2008 to 2010 and was a member of the unsuccessful casting band Part Six. After that, he briefly joined the music project Golden Circle and released a solo music piece called "All of Me" in 2011.[4][7] He then began studying industrial engineering while also modeling on the side.

Starting in 2014, Schütz began showcasing fragrances on YouTube, operating bilingually with a more successful English-language channel. One of his early videos garnered over two million views. By 2022, his focus shifted to TikTok, where he gained six million followers.

In 2018, his video “5 Reasons to Wear Fragrances” won the FiFi Award for Best Perfume Vlog at The Fragrance Foundation awards in New York. That same year, a Kickstarter campaign aiming to raise 25,000 euros for his own fragrance ended up generating nearly 800,000 euros, leading to the launch of his own perfume collection online.

By 2022, Schütz claimed to earn “tens of thousands of euros” per video, with his main income coming from his fragrance line rather than advertising contracts.

In November 2021, Schütz was invited by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan to a PR event alongside actors from the Turkish series Diriliş Ertuğrul. He also mentioned having connections with the ruling family of the UAE.

Schütz has appeared on shows like Late Night Berlin, Leeroy Matata’s YouTube channel, and World Wide Wohnzimmer. In November 2022, he briefly participated in the reality show Promi Big Brother, leaving after six days. His journey was captured in the documentary Jeremy Fragrance – Number One: From Promi-Big-Brother Back into the World, which aired on Sat.1 in December 2022.
