Aoud Forest by Montale begins with Lemon, Grapefruit, and Rosemary, creating a bright citrus, floral, and fruity opening before the composition moves into its central accord.

At the heart, Rose, Ginger, and Marine Notes develops the fragrance’s character. The dry down settles into White Musk and Ambergris, giving the composition an ambered and musky finish.

The progression from Lemon and Grapefruit through Rose and Ginger to White Musk and Ambergris creates a bright citrus, floral, fruity, and spiced profile, with each stage preserving a distinct place in the fragrance’s development.

Montale was established in Paris in 2003 after Pierre Montale’s travels in the Arabian region helped shape his interest in oud and other aromatic materials. Oud remains central to the house’s identity, alongside rose, flowers, woods, and warm accords.

Its approach brings these influences into a Parisian perfume setting, with compositions that emphasize recognizable materials and expressive combinations. The breadth of the collection allows different facets of the house to emerge, from floral interpretations to deeper woody and resinous directions.
